The Teacher’s Standard

Grow. Learn. Teach.

Read this before you apply. These are the commitments every teacher in this house makes.
I teach because I was first taught. I will keep learning.
I will prepare before I stand, and study before I speak.
I will handle the Word with care and keep it in its context.
I will be on time, present and ready for the people God sends.
I will be teachable, and receive correction as investment.
I will protect every learner, young and old, and guard my witness.
“And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” — 2 Timothy 2:2
